my huge discovery.
as the date today is so special i reckon i should post something here. just so the date gets embedded in my blog forever. haha.
i made a huge discovery yesterday. i changed my specs yesterday. my old specs lens were terribly scratched and the coating on top was totally gone. well can't blame it cause i've wore it for 3 years already. but main thing is after i've put on my new specs, the world became so much clearer suddenly. colours seem brighter. but that was when it hit me that the world is actually not as pretty as what i thought it was. the corridor concrete floor was full of patches. the road was not smooth grey but ugly patchy grey. my hair was uneven streaks of brown. even my complexion was ugly patchy. haha. suddenly i wasn't as pretty as i thought i was before anymore. haha.
should things be a smooth uniform colour to be nice? is patchy nice then? i keep wondering the whole day.
i looked at walls, sky, people's faces for some conclusion. haha. patchy is nice if it's so to show tone and shadow. patchy is not nice if it's random. haha. suddenly the world is ugly from just a mere change of specs.
