totally can take alot of time (and attention) off that reading you're doing for your dissertation.
that's the sombrero galaxy, or M104, part of the virgo constellation.
ps: it would be interesting to note that before looking at this, i had been putting the search engine to good use, looking for Ursa major, Leo, Orion, Orion Nebula, the North Star, etc. all the usual. and testing my skills of identifying the constellations. (with as you can see, wikipedia on as well.)
you can see the stars, galaxies, nebulas, blackholes till its absolute closeness. uber coolness.

apples.
Girls are like
apples on trees. The best
ones are at the top of the tree.
The boys don't want to reach for
the good ones because they are afraid
of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they
just get the rotten apples from the ground
that aren't as good, but easy. So the apples
at the top think something is wrong with
them, when in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right boy to come along, the one
who's brave enough
to climb
all the way
to the top
of the tree.
Borrowed from Megan.
haha. sounds really cheesy but surprisingly encouraging nonetheless. :)
got it from stumbleupon. i'm on stumble! i love it!
